The Way Home
Aliyah to Israel and the Fulfillment of God’s Promise
Aliyah to Israel — the return of the Jewish people to their ancient homeland — is for
many believers the living fulfillment of biblical prophecy and the unfolding of God’s
promises to Israel.
For nearly two thousand years of exile, the Jewish people lifted their eyes toward Zion.
Through tears, persecution, and wandering, they continued to pray and
dream of the day when they would return to the land of their fathers.
Today we are living in a generation in which that ancient hope is becoming a visible reality.
For many believers around the world, the return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel
is not simply a political development or a human initiative.
It is something far deeper.
It is connected to the promise of God.

Not a Political Idea - A Divine Promise
Some people see the return of the Jewish people to Israel as a political movement or simply a
national aspiration.
Others believe it happened only because of historical circumstances or the goodwill of certain
nations.
But for those who believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the story is very
different.
The return of Israel to its land is rooted in the promise given to the patriarchs and in the
covenant that God Himself established.
God’s promises are not temporary, and they are not subject to human opinion.
They stand through generations.
The Covenant Promise
For those who believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the return of the Jewish
people to the Land of Israel is deeply connected to the covenant God made with the
patriarchs.
Long before exile and long before modern history, God spoke these words to Abraham:
“To your offspring I give this land.”
Genesis 15:18
Later the promise was confirmed again:
“I will give to you and to your descendants after you the land where you now reside, all the
land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God”
Genesis 17:8
For many believers, these words remind us that the return of Israel to its land is not merely a
political development, but part of the unfolding of God’s promises through history.
The Lord Spoke Through the Prophets
The return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel was spoken about long ago.
The Lord Himself spoke about it through His prophets.
The prophet Isaiah declared:
“He will raise a banner for the nations
and gather the exiles of Israel;
He will assemble the scattered people of Judah
from the four corners of the earth”
Isaiah 11:12
Jeremiah also proclaimed:
“Behold, I will bring them from the land of the north
and gather them from the ends of the earth.”
Jeremiah 31:8
And Ezekiel spoke with the same certainty:
“I will take you from among the nations,
gather you out of all countries,
and bring you into your own land.”
Ezekiel 36:24
Witnessing the Return
Today we are witnessing before our eyes one of the greatest miracles in history.
After nearly two thousand years of exile, the Jewish people are returning to their ancient
homeland.
Airplanes land in Israel carrying families who have come home.
Men, women, and children step onto the soil of the Land of Israel with tears of emotion.
For many believers, this is not merely migration.
It is the visible fulfillment of God's promises.
The Role of Friends of Israel
The prophets also spoke about the role of the nations and friends of Israel in this process.
“This is what the Lord God says:
Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations
and raise My banner to the peoples;
and they will bring your sons in their arms,
and your daughters will be carried on their shoulders.”
Isaiah 49:22
Many believers around the world understand these words as a calling.
They stand with Israel through prayer, encouragement, practical help, and
support for those who are returning home.
Where Prophecy Meets Daily Life
At the point where prophecy meets daily reality, Sabra enters the picture.
Through Sabra House, we help new Olim (new immigrants to Israel) who arrive
without family support.
They receive not only a roof and a place to rest, but guidance, encouragement, and the
warmth of a welcoming home during their first days in Israel.
A Journey of Faith and Hope
For those who believe in the God of Israel, Aliyah to Israel is not simply immigration.
It is part of the unfolding story of God’s faithfulness.
It is a reminder that the promises spoken long ago are still alive.
And every person who returns home becomes part of that story.
